A Safe Haven: Amina’s Journey to Healing and Happiness

Amina | Pinnacle Orphanage Home

Amina’s world changed forever when violence erupted in her small village. At just 8 years old, she witnessed unimaginable loss and was forced to flee with nothing but the clothes on her back. Disoriented and scared, she found her way to Pinnacle Orphanage Home—a place that would become her sanctuary.

At first, Amina was withdrawn, speaking little and often isolating herself. But the caregivers at Pinnacle knew that healing takes time and patience. Through daily counseling sessions and spiritual support, Amina began to open up about her experiences.

One of the programs that made the biggest difference for Amina was art therapy. With a brush in her hand, she painted her pain, hopes, and dreams. The colors on her canvas told a story of resilience, and each painting became a stepping stone toward emotional recovery.

Today, Amina is a vibrant and confident young girl who excels in school and actively participates in creative activities at the orphanage. She even leads art workshops for other children, using her journey as a source of inspiration.
